Foodie Friday: Cravings blog tour kicks off tomorrow

Tomorrow is a big day, at least in my world. It’s the kick-off of my 15-day blog tour for my newest book from Ave Maria Press: Cravings: A Catholic Wrestles with Food, Self-Image, and God. Every day of the tour I’ll visit a different blog. Some days blogs will run reviews, other days excerpts, Q&A interviews, podcasts, and more. Each stop will give readers a chance to win a copy of my book and a chance to win a $100 gift card from Williams-Sonoma.
Also, before I give you the list of scheduled blog tour stops, I want to ask you to watch — or set your DVR for — CNN’s Weekend Early Start on Sunday, Jan. 6, at 8:30 a.m. ET. That’s when I’m scheduled to be on the show to talk about Cravings, barring some world event or celebrity news or winter storm report that bumps me into oblivion.

Your Cravings blog tour is exciting and I am looking forward to kicking it off tomorrow at “View From the Domestic Church”!
Thank you for writing this book! Pray, love then eat indeed!
You are so welcome! Thank you for commenting here. Makes my day! 🙂
What a great idea…a blog tour!
Isn’t it? My publisher suggested it. So much better than sitting all alone at a table in bookstore for hours with no one buying any books. 🙂
Dear Mary: I was enlighten by reading Maria’s blog Day by Day. The featured questions and your answers where fascinating. It is amazing if we go back, how Jesus sat down for the last supper with his disciples and of course our Lord left them with that example for them to share. In our home, i was born in Cuba; as well as my husband’s home, who he is Norwegian, the kitchen meals, and Family time around it was the heart and soul of the Family home experiences. That is when we all got together and shared everyone’s day. We connected, bonded, prayed, praised. Today is the Internet, texting, blogging.
Times changes but the one constant is our believe in God, faith, love for one another and treat others as you want and wish to be treated. Thank you for this book, we also now have become 99 percent vegetarians. Look forward to read the rest! Congratulations. God Bless you with much success, great message to share.
Dear Marina,
Thank you for your comment, and welcome to NSS! I often post vegetarian recipes here (Foodie Friday), so check back if you’re looking for veggie meal suggestions.
Peace,
Mary
Hi Mary., have been checking about blog tours. Would be great if you could provide some more info on it. The concept is not all that clear.
