We live in a world where we are expected to do two things at once, or ten things at once. Multitasking is seen as a virtue, something that means we are working harder. But the truth is that doing more than one thing at a time takes its toll. When you do six things at once, none of them are done with attention or intention. That kind of fractured behavior leads to unrest and dissatisfaction deep in our souls, not to mention stress and physical/mental health issues in our daily lives.
