He is risen. Alleluia. Alleluia

Life begins again today. Even without dying, we feel reborn because we have been given the ultimate second chance. Without earning it, without understanding it, resurrection is now our destiny. Never has emptiness felt so full. Alleluia, Alleluia. He is risen. And we are saved.
From my final reflection of Not By Bread Alone 2016 (Liturgical Press). Thank you to all of you who journeyed with me through my book during this Lenten season.

We put things out into the world never knowing where they will land, who they will touch. Its the day after Easter and I find myself missing that little part of my morning devotion that your book contributed. Thank you and many blessings to you and your family this Easter season.

Mary, thank you for elevating my Lenten journey this year through use of your Daily Reflections. I am a Lutheran but my Catholic trainer and I find many commonalities in our faith. She offered a Faith, Fun, and Fitness class during Lent this year and gifted us with your book. I enjoyed it immensely and look forward to more uplifting and thought provoking writings from you.

I love the Daily Reflections for Lent: not by Bread Alone. I used several of your thoughts in letters to my grandson in rehab. They were good for me too.
